A Beautiful Liar

Completely out of the blue, he asked her,

“Did you ever love me?”

She looked into his eyes then her face turned pale. She was speechless for few moments then she said,

“Yes, somehow.”

He smiled and was pleased with what he heard from her. All the while, he thought she had never had feelings for him.

She wanted to take back what she just told him, She didn’t mean it and now, she started to feel perturbed.

With every passing moment, he couldn’t help smiling. Yet the pang of uneasiness grew greater
That she wanted to leave the situation immediately. She would even want to stab herself in remorse.

He would do everything he could to win her back. It seemed like she cast a spell and he easily fell for it.

If he only knew, she was such a beautiful liar.


All the things she does in the heat of the moment, It can cost him a lifetime of happiness.
But in many days to come can bring him nothing but distress.
